We started in a garage with limited resources and a clear belief: craftsmanship still matters in a market saturated with mass-produced decor. There was no roadmap. just a commitment to show up and do the work.
We showed up each day and focused on the work, building steadily one sign at a time. That same discipline continues to shape how we operate today.
What began in a small garage has since expanded into a dedicated production facility.
Cornbread Custom Signs produces handcrafted wall art defined by precision, restraint, and durability. Each piece is made from engineered wood, carved and hand-finished in Nebraska. Nothing is outsourced. Nothing is rushed.
Our work is selected for its meaning and permanence. From collegiate and first responder emblems to military insignia and custom residential pieces. What began in a garage has grown into a dedicated facility, guided by the same standards that built it.

I didn’t build this company to make more... I built it to make better! Every sign is created with care, precision, and respect for what it represents. That standard guides every decision Cornbread Customs Signs makes.
Craftsmanship, to me, reflects character. The materials I choose, the time I take, and the details I refuse to overlook all matter. One of the hardest things to get right was colors making it bold and bright while still letting the natural wood grain show through. It took years to find that balance, and it’s something I still obsess over.
Nothing here is rushed or outsourced. Every piece is designed, carved, painted, and finished in-house by people who take pride in their work.
When someone trusts us with a sign, they’re trusting us with a meaningful service, family, heritage, or personal achievement. I take that responsibility seriously. Every sign that leaves our shop is made to last and made to earn its place on the wall.
